On Wednesday, October 28th, Freshman Academy students in conjunction with Jobs for MS Graduates (JMG) toured Delta Technical College. Students were given the opportunity to learn and view hands on training in various technical careers. They toured the cosmetology lab, dentistry lab, and medical tech lab. Students were also given an opportunity to see how copper pipes are welded for HVAC purposes and how truckers are trained for cross country driving.  This was great exposure for our students as they prepare to make career choices.
