• Mentor Bush and Mentor Ellis

    Mr. Lee Bush and Mr. Amos Ellis are the 100 Black Men of Jackson Mentors for Jim Hill High School. 

     

    Mr. Bush graduated from the Academy of Aeronautics in New York City. He also attended Mohawk Valley Community College, Little Rock University, Jackson State University, and Mississippi College.

    Currently, Mr. Bush is President and CEO of National Collection Systems, LLC. He is also a consultant with Waste Pro of Mississippi and a board member of Liberty Bank Advisory. He is a former quality control manager at Electro National Corporation, member of the quality control staff at Presidential Island Steel Company, and member of the Jackson State University Engineering Technology staff.

    He serves as chairman of the Mission Mississippi Board of Directors, chairman of the Southern Christian Services for Children and Youth, and is a member of the Rotary Club, 100 Black Men of Jackson, the Board of Mississippi Symphony Orchestra, the Board of Gateway Rescue Mission, the Mississippi Civil Rights Museum Advisory Commission, former president of the Mississippi Minority Contractors, and former chairman of the Mississippi Family Council Board. He is a member of New Horizon International Church and also served in the United States Air Force.

    He is married to Dr. Freda M. Bush, and they have four children and eight grandchildren.
