Mrs. Tempestt Harvey
Mrs. Tempestt Harvey is a proud product of the Jackson Public School District and has spent all 11 years of her teaching career with the district.
Her career began at Whitten Middle School, where she spent five years. Over that time, Mrs. Harvey taught 6th-grade reading and 6th - 8th-grade math. She also served as Math Interventionist at Hardy Middle School and a 5th-grade teacher at Raines Elementary. For the past four years, she has been an 8th-grade math teacher at Chastain Middle School, where she also taught Algebra 1.
Mrs. Harvey received her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Mississippi State University. She completed her Master of Education degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Belhaven University, and she also completed her Educational Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Mississippi.
